Cabela's - "I Want That Raccoon!"

Dear Sophie,
I must admit I was plenty nervous about taking you to Cabela's but, over the weekend, your Happy Tails friends went there with no issues so I figured it must be tame enough not to freak you out. Well, it wasn't the grizzly or polar bears that ultimately did, and it wasn't the elks with racks huge enough to fill up most of our living room. It wasn't even the massive African elephant. You didn't seem all that impressed with any of those, though I sure was!! But somewhere from deep inside that domesticated heart of yours, your hunting ancestry burst forth and you wanted that raccoon! Once your eyes fixed on it, I gave thanks for the log fence between you and him because we might've had to purchase a very expensive stuffed raccoon if there hadn't been. It is truly a remarkable place, one that I could easily spend all day in if I could. The displays are magnificent and the taxidermy jobs are flawless. Of course, you couldn't have cared less about all the technicalities of the place; you were more interested in that crate of big ol' braised beef bones ... yeah, you got one.
